Mini Haul Part I!

Thursday 23 May 2013

Hey beautiful!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous week! I have had a rather busy week sorting out my life! I went back to university today for a 'Getting into the Media' event to find out what I can do now that I have completed my degree, it was quite helpful! I'm looking to work for a magazine in the near future as I've always wanted to be a magazine journalist since a very young age. I miss the good 'ol school days! What have you been up to this week?

I recently bought a few things from boohoo.com that I thought I'd share with you. I also did a mini Primark haul last week that I haven't finished filming. (yes, I've started adding more of a personal touch by filming myself in these outfits!) By filming I don't mean videos though, not sure if I'm ready for that! So lets start this haul, let me know what you think!

Monochrome Textured Panel Detail Bodycon Dress

Bodycon dress, £15. Kurt Geiger shoes, MAC lady danger lipstick, Guess watch.

This staple white and black bodycon dress can be worn for almost anything. It has a very sophisticated monochrome design with a textured middle section. The dress comes up to my knees because I'm quite short at 5ft 4 so it'll look very flattering on taller people :) I bought this because I needed more formal-wear and because it's gorgeous! - this would look perfect for a formal party or fashion event. Team it up with a bold statement necklace to add a bit of glam and some high heels. This look is complete with a red matte lipstick!

Short Sleeve Loose Knit Jumper

Rose Jumper £12, H&M shorts, Cross necklace £6 ASOS, Just Fab La Brea Wedge Sandals, £17.50.

This loose knit jumper looks even better in real life! Sometimes I don't like loose knit jumpers as I feel it tends to look weird but this one certainly doesn't. The rose colour looks beautiful and the fit and design is perfect. This jumper is suited for all seasons, I love wearing a jumper with a pair of shorts because it looks chic yet laidback and girly! You can also wear it with some skinny jeans and flats.

Racer back Maxi Dress

Plum Dress, £12

Who says short people can't rock a maxi dress?! I've always wanted one so I took a leap and bought it! It does come up quite long on me as expected, but it's nothing a pair of wedge sandals can't fix! This plum dress is very flattering and the material is comfortable and good quality. The belt adds a touch of feminine to it as well. Although this maxi dress is quite simple, you can always glam it up with accessories! A statement necklace and some arm candy wouldn't go amiss! I'm planning on wearing this later next month on holiday. Can't wait!

Hope you liked this mini Boohoo haul! There will be a part II in the form of Primark. In the meantime please comment and subscribe. Spread the word! Thanks for reading :)
