Hey everyone!
On Wednesday night I had the pleasure of attending the Bloggers Love Secret Garden event at Mahiki. I was greeted with cocktails and cupcakes which is always good! Unfortunately I didn't have my SLR camera with me so I couldn't take high-quality photos from the fashion show, however, the show itself was amazing - I really enjoyed myself and found the designs from the brands were extraordinarily pretty and unique. Here's a collage of me in Mahiki with TV presenter AJ and Bewitched member Lindsay Armaou!
There were 8 brands in attendance; Alanna Rose Designs, Artemis South, Brastop, MAKAN Swimwear, Pamela Mann, Patricia Eve, Silk Sarongs and Sasha Jane.
My favourite brand of the night was definitely Pamela Mann as I adored the different patterned hosiery. Pamela Mann's mission statement is 'To offer the latest fashion at reasonable cost, without compromising on quality' which is what I believe they do.
The fashion show showcased a range of the collections available, varying from patterned tights to faux tattoo and beautiful over knee stocking tights.
My favourite pair were these side slash tights which look very different and sexy! I'll definitely be purchasing a pair of these soon.
I was gifted the grid check panel over knee tights* which are also very pretty, here's a pic of me wearing the tights.
The material is good quality and the sizing is very versatile as it comes in one size but would fit many. It retails at £8.99 which is very affordable for this rare design.
I'll see you all in my next blog post which will be a (long awaited) fashion haul!

Hey Everyone!
I know it's been a while, I've been so busy applying for jobs that I've neglected my blog the past week or so. I hope you're keeping warm in this dreadful cold winter weather! I've purchased a few things lately so you will definitely see a fashion haul within the next week. I'm going to Bauer Media's training day tomorrow so I could also keep you all posted on that if you want as well :)
Hope you all have a great week and I'll speak to you all soon.
Christmas/Boxing Day Sale Haul featuring Topshop, ASOS, boohoo and more. Happy New Year!
Monday, 6 January 2014
Hey guys!
I hope you had an amazing new year and had fun celebrating it! I went out with my sister and a few friends and ended up roaming around London before arriving at a local pub for the countdown, it was an eventful night!
Over a week ago I went to Oxford Street to check out the boxing day sales and it was manic. There were people everywhere (as expected) and as usual a lot of the smaller sizes sold out fast. I went to Topshop to see if they had any little bits and bobs in the sale that I might like. I ended up buying a few pieces which I will share with you now.
I also did a little online shopping at ASOS and Boohoo and grabbed a lot of bargains! I know this post is a little overdue so apologies for the delay.
Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal Jumper
I got this iconic slogan jumper (from the original Home Alone movies) for less than £8 in the Boohoo sales, as it was 50% cheaper than the original price. I will definitely be wearing this next Christmas whether or not it's on trend haha. Boohoo are offering up to 25% off discounts on top of the sale prices, enter the code golden25 at checkout.
Warehouse Padlock Shopper
This lovely shopper bag was on sale at ASOS for £22.50 and I've wanted it for a while so decided to purchase it! It has an all-around zip to keep all your little bits and bobs safe and secure. It is also in this lovely burgundy red colour which is perfect for the winter season.
Elise Ryan Monochrome Belted Pencil Dress
I decided to treat myself to an early birthday present after seeing this pretty monochrome strapless dress in the ASOS sales. It's very fitted and accentuates your curves. It fits in all the right places and will make a lovely birthday dress!
Possibly my favourite sale pick - this gorgeous sleeveless lace front blouse is the perfect top for a night out! It goes so well with leather look leggings or disco pants! I adore the sequin collar as it gives the top a bit of glam. This top is also from Boohoo, absolutely love their website!
Lime Lace Crop Top
I scrambled for this lovely crop top in the Topshop sales in Oxford Street and managed to find it in my size! It's such a pain trying to find something in your size in the sales! This lime coloured lace crop top only cost me £3 plus student discount and it is an essential for those Summer days! I might have to wait a while for that in good old England but it'll definitely be worth it. I'd team this crop top with a pair of high waisted shorts or a plain bodycon mini skirt and statement necklace with flats.
Coral Scallop Edge Trim Lace Top
Another bargain from the Topshop sales. I bought this top for £8. I absolutely love the colour and design of this top and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it! (I have a shopping addiction as you've probably figured out by now!) This is also more suitable for the Summer and would look great with a pair of white skinny jeans and pointed court heels.
So there you go, that concludes my sale haul! I actually didn't really buy that much if you really think about it...

These heels from Boohoo are so gorgeous! It comes in a lovely nude colour and has a very unique snake trim print to it. I plan to wear these with skinny jeans and a nice top or a fitted dress with lots of accessories. I mentioned these in my Christmas wishlist and received it as a present from my parents on Christmas day. I guess they've been reading my blog - thanks Mum!
