Outfit of the Day: Chic Faux Leather and Crop Bralet with Lace Up Heels

Hey everyone!

So here is an extremely delayed fashion post about the outfit I wore to a Bloggers event... a month or so ago. Oops. I just thought I'd share this with you guys anyway as it was the perfect summery outfit to wear for an evening out. 

Here I'm wearing a pale blue Topshop bralet paired with my Boohoo faux leather skirt, lace up heels from Justfab and a huge statement necklace from Zara to complete the look. I think the pastel bralet really complements the black skirt as it's like daytime meets night time if you know what I mean?

Hot Summer Nights...

Hey everyone!

I've made it my mission to blog a lot more this month, as it's summer and I have a little bit of extra time on my hands. I've forgotten how much I enjoy blogging and connecting with all of you!

Today I bring you with an Summer night out outfit post. I recently went to my friends engagement drinks and wanted to wear something comfortable yet glamourous so I opted for this navy skater dress I bought recently from ASOS. The brand is called Club L and they offer the most amazing dresses (and outfits in general) for petite girls like myself. At only 5ft 3.5" I sometimes struggle to find a dress that isn't too long and that flatters my figure.

This gorgeous dress ticks all the boxes; it's short, navy, has a flattering skater style flare and a pretty floral pattern.

I paired this dress with my current favourite pair of high heels from justfab.co.uk. These are their zarah heels and are coincidently, a dupe for the lace up heels that were available (and sold out) at Zara. I actually forgot to wear a necklace and accessories in this outfit shoot but I would have gone with a statement necklace and an elegant clutch to finish off the look.

I went with neutral make-up and false lashes to add some glamour to the overall look.

OOTD: LBD and Spring Lace up Heels

The weather's been a bit all over the place in London recently, mostly it's been mild with some rain and clouds but nevertheless it is spring, which means florals and bright colours should be staples in the wardrobe!

Though a Little Black Dress kind of defeats the purpose of this haha.

I have been absolutely obsessed with lace up heels lately, I really wanted to purchase a pair when Zara were selling those gorgeous black lace up heels but it just wasn't in the budget unfortunately.

However, on Easter Monday I treated myself to these lovely orangey coral lace up heels from Aldo, which were already on sale for £38 with an added 15% off easter discount code. It was an early birthday present for myself and I thought it was about time I got a pair in this style! They are extremely comfortable and I highly recommend them. I've been walking in them for hours. I will also be doing another post on my JustFab lace up heels very soon.

I teamed these heels with this little black textured skater dress which I bought from a store called Magenta in Harrow. At £5 it was an absolute bargain! It's really good quality as well. This was a little early birthday treat from my mum :3 I went for minimal accessories with this look but you can always glam a LBD up with a statement necklace and a red lip. I finished this look with my Guess watch and Buffy 'B' necklace.

OOTD Post featuring Wearall.com

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since my last post I know - it's been such a busy month! I started freelancing at entertainmentwise.com which is a serious stepping stone in my career and I am so grateful. I have also been attending a lot of The Wanted's tour dates around the UK. As some of you may know I am exceptionally fond of those boys and wanted to get as many dates in as I can and I had so much fun.

I have so much to show you all as I've been purchasing a lot of new products lately but that's going to have to wait for a later blog post, stay tuned!

Today I want to talk about a relatively new online fashion store called wearall.com. Wearall offer a range of on-trend fashion pieces at reasonable prices and I couldn't recommend them more. A favourite of mine has to be the belted skater dress which should be a staple dress in everyone's wardrobe! What I love about this dress is the fact that it's not too long or short and is the perfect length on me, who at 5ft 3.5 has a hard time finding the right fit. The nice people at wearall.com were kind enough to send me this amazing dress in fuschia to review for you guys. 

Due to the horrendous rain yesterday I had to take photo's inside - here's me in the Charity Skater Dress*

As you can see above I added a statement necklace to complete the look, this particular dress would look amazing with a lot of accessorising and it is perfect for spring 2014. It only costs £8.95 as well which is a bargain considering how comfortable and good quality the material is.

New Years Eve Outfit Post

Hey guys!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas day and are enjoying the holidays! I didn't really get many presents this year to share with you all but I did get to spend time with family, which was great. 

Today I'm bringing you a New Year's Eve outfit post based on what I would have worn on NYE had the delivery of the top come on time!

Anyway, here's the outfit! The sequin lace top is from boohoo.com and the leather look tube skirt is from New Look. It's always nice to dress up for New year's if you're going out on the town to a bar/club to celebrate with friends :) 

And here's a pair of pointed court heels to finish the look, these are also from boohoo.com.

So there you go, that's my would-be new years outfit! I would probably pair this outfit with some arm candy and a simple necklace as the sequin lace top is statement enough.

Interview Outfit: OOTD

Hey guys! I hope you're all well. I've been so sick lately and I am still recovering. Probably the worst week to get ill!

As you probably all know by now I have been applying to numerous PR and journalism jobs which have led me to a few interviews. Well today I had an interview with a well -established luxury fashion company and I thought I'd share with you the outfit that I wore for it! 

I had no idea what I was supposed to wear as I know each company is different. I wanted to make an impression as this company is well respected and proficiently popular worldwide - as well as being a company that I really want to work for! So I opted for something that was somewhere inbetween chic and casual. As the interview was for a PR position, I didn't want to be too smart (although I'm pretty sure I looked overly smart!) Here's some not-so-good photos that my little (19 year old) sister took of me:

Here are some more photos, really sorry about the poor quality, guys! Here you can see the back of the H&M blazer I'm wearing - it has a peplum style to it. Also, I must point out that this gorgeous blazer has an inside pocket! Yes, I couldn't believe it either. Get it while you can though because this blazer jacket is on sale at the moment for £15 in H&M. 

 

I wore the blazer and pencil skirt with a lace crop top to tone down the businessy vibe that this outfit was giving out! I probably could have got away with wearing jeans but I didn't want to take the risk. I also wore low heels as I didn't want to trip or fall flat on my face! I'll probably be more confident to wear higher heels next time. I hope you guys like this look, feel free to leave your comments below - tell me what you'd wear to a PR/journalism company interview. Mini Fashion Haul + OOTD!

My week in pictures: (Or mainly my day seeing The Wanted lol).

Yeah I know, I kinda look weird in these pictures! I'm a big fan of The Wanted and it was great to see them after so long! I only managed to get a photo with the gorgeous Jay and Siva.

Moving on, during the week I went to Oxford Street for some much needed retail therapy! (Okay, so I intended to only go to HMV as I had a gift voucher I needed to spend). I went to Topshop mainly and bought a few crop tops, one of them being the one I'm wearing in the pictures above but here's a better photo of me below with my outfit of the day!

Not the most interesting background! Here I'm wearing this cobalt blue lace crop top that I bought for £15 (+ Student discount!). I'm also wearing a leather look skater skirt from boohoo.com and my pretty polly sock tights. Unfortunately I didn't have time to accessorize otherwise I would have definitely gone with gold jewellery for this particular look.

While in Central London, I also popped into Forever 21 to see what exciting new stuff they had in store. I saw these really cute pair of crochet side cut out shorts/hotpants! These crochet trim shorts have really been on trend recently, although probably more suited for S/S2013. All the small sizes were out of stock (except for one pair that had a little damage to it :( ) so I didn't end up buying it. If you're interested, keep an eye out for it in Forever 21 stores. I also got this really pretty mesh top from ASOS, which I might wear on Valentine's Day (I'll definitely do an OOTD post!). As you've probably noticed by now, I've bought quite a few crop tops lately - I think it looks really stylish! It also flatters those with small waists.

Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in a while. I thought I'd start with my second OOTD post! Hope you guys like it :)

Here is a collage with my OOTD - a grey wrap body from ASOS (which I got a long time ago), a high waisted belted skirt from boohoo.com, click here for the link. I'm wearing sock tights from Pretty Polly, these are actually amazing - it's over the knee socks with tights, 2 in 1! They're very comfortable as well and do not fall down as most knee high socks do. Last but not least, I am wearing my knee high wedged boots from Forever 21. These are the bargain boots I blogged about in my January Favourites, which I purchased for the sale price of £8! Outfit of the Day (OOTD)

Hey everyone! Thought I'd do a OOTD post. This isn't going to be a regular thing but I wanted to post about a Christmas knitted jumper I purchased recently.

                            Perrie Knit Christmas Kitten Jumper

I bought this for a bargain at £15 at boohoo.com and I must say, it is the most comfy jumper I've ever worn! It's risen a little in this photo, but it is a bit longer in length. It's 100% acrylic and its perfect for winter; it doesn't let any cold in or any heat out (if that makes sense!). I was actually boiling all day wearing it lol, in a good way! I actually bought this for my sister but she might not ever see it again (muahaha).

I'm also wearing the fairsle leggings I blogged about the other day, it completes the whole Christmassy look!
