Hey Everyone!
My lateness with uploading this festive makeup tutorial should be a crime! I hope it was worth waiting for. I created this sparkly christmas cranberry and gold makeup look based on what I wore on Christmas day. It is the perfect look to wear for New Years Eve if you're going out (or staying in!) I apologise for the majorly late upload and I hope you all have an amazing new year. Stay safe!
Top 5 Luxury Beauty Christmas Gift Guide
Friday, 19 December 2014
Hey everyone!
I can't believe it's almost Christmas! Like many others, Christmas is my favourite time of year (along with Halloween) as its a great excuse for spending time with family and watching Christmas themed movies. It's also that time of year where you have to go shopping for all those near and dear - which can be quite a challenge, especially if you've left it a bit last minute. But fear not as I have gathered up all my favourite beauty products that I feel would make a perfect present for any beauty lovers out there.
Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette
I couldn't possibly have a beauty gift guide without including this incredible eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay. This palette is stunning. There is a whole variety of colours and they are so pigmented and pretty. This palette includes your neutrals, smokey colours and some brighter jewel tone shades to suit a day or night look. The palette includes a humongous mirror, eyeshadow brush and fancy packaging. This is without a doubt my favourite palette at the moment and it would honestly be a godsend to any makeup junkies out there. It currently retails for £42 which is quite a reasonable price for 20 eyeshadows.
I hope you enjoyed this luxury beauty Christmas gift guide. As it's the season to be jolly - House of Fraser are embracing the Christmas spirit with a 12 Days of Christmas offer which will see big beauty names being reduced for the next week and a half from the 24th December. So if you haven't yet bought all your presents, or if you want to enjoy discounted beauty goodies, keep an eye out on the House of Fraser website for more info closer to the time.
Remember, these beauty products are only discounted for a limited time only so make the most of it and keep your eyes peeled!
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas day and pig out on all the trimmings. I should have a video up on YouTube before Christmas if everything goes to plan so I'll see you then.

Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette
This cheek palette has a lot of sparkly pinky shades that are perfect for Christmas. This is one of Nars' best seasonal palettes as it contains a mix of permanent and limited edition shades. The palette includes some blusher shades, contour & bronzer shades as well highlighting blush shades that would suit most skin tones. It costs £45 and it is still available to purchase at Space NK.
Benefit Skincare Gift Set
This is an amazing budget friendly gift set from Benefit. It includes 6 products for only £14.50! Benefit are renowned for their skincare products and this gift set would be perfect for those with dry/normal skin.
MAC Lipstick - Sin (Matte)
A gorgeous matte deep dark red from MAC. This is the most perfect 'fall' lipstick and is such a universally flattering colour. I like to wear this with a neutral or smokey eye and it goes with both looks so well. If you have a friend/sibling or family member that loves their lippies, this is hands down the best deep lipstick colour I've tried.
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara Christmas Gift Set*
This is my favourite gift set from the list. It includes a mascara, eye liner pencil and cleanser and it is such great value for the quality. I've been using the mascara non-stop since I got it and I haven't seen my lashes look more long and voluminous as they do with this mascara. I will be doing a full in-depth review on this on my blog or YouTube channel as I'm so impressed with it. A definite must-have for mascara lovers!
Remember, these beauty products are only discounted for a limited time only so make the most of it and keep your eyes peeled!
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas day and pig out on all the trimmings. I should have a video up on YouTube before Christmas if everything goes to plan so I'll see you then.
Foryou SuperGel Moisturiser for Oily Skin
Friday, 5 December 2014
Hey everyone!
I hope you've all had an amazing week! It's been really busy at work due to the Christmas rush but I've really been enjoying it so far. I'm faced with different (sometimes challenging) people everyday and it's been a real learning experience.
Today's blog post is a mini review on the SuperGel Moisturiser by Foryou Skincare. I received some samples of this moisturiser at the Bloggers tea party hosted by Nadja and Olivia over a month ago and I have been using this product every night ever since.
Foryou Skincare is a startup company who offer a range of skincare for all skin types. I have the supergel moisturiser for oily skin and it really has improved the condition of my skin.
The moisturiser itself is quite thick and you really do have to work with it to blend it in nicely, but I feel like this allows the product to really melt into the skin. The product itself does an amazing job at providing hydration whilst combating shine. I like to use this moisturiser at night because it can be quite heavy for the day time under makeup. There is no scent to these moisturisers which gets another thumbs up from me and it hasn't made a huge difference to any small blemishes but it noticeably makes my skin smoother and soft, which is fantastic!
Foryou Skincare have a range of other products available on their website if you'd like to check them out and preorder: http://www.foryouskincare.com/
I hope you guys have been enojoying my blog posts instead of my usual YouTube videos lately, I really do need to invest in some good old lighting as it's impossible to film in this depressing London weather! I will hopefully have another video up next week. In the meantime, check out my facebook page here to keep up to date with me :)
Have a lovely weekend xo

MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme DUPE!!
Sunday, 30 November 2014
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! This is a blog post that I have been meaning to post for weeks, but work has gotten in the way so it's been quite difficult to manage my blog and YouTube channel with this new change. However, I've got round to taking photos and writing up this blog post on the amazing dupe I have discovered.
I never really liked MAC's Pro Longwear lip cremes that much if I'm honest. I found the formula too drying on the lips and I didn't really think it lasted all day as it claims. So you can imagine I was completely ecstatic when I came across the amazing Kiko Unlimited Stylo Lipsticks. I have the shade #13 Cocoa and it is literally MAC's famous Whirl lip liner in a lipstick form. It is such a gorgeous nudey pinky brown 90's Kylie Jenner colour and it's been my go-to lipstick for the past few months. I have literally not worn anything else since discovering it (except for in my YT videos of course!) I actually featured this lipstick in my latest video on a Birthday/Clubbing makeup look that I created, I will leave a link as well as a photo of me wearing this perfect lipstick below.
I hope you found this blog post helpful, if you would like to see me apply the Kiko Lipstick, please watch my latest makeup tutorial here:
A new beauty video will soon be landing on my YouTube channel so keep your eyes peeled! I will see you all very soon.

This photo seriously doesn't do it justice though!
In comparison to the MAC Pro Longwear lipcreme, the Kiko lipstick is ironically a lot more creamier and lasts literally ALL DAY LONG! The colour payoff is amazing and it glides onto the lips so effortlessly. You don't really need a lip liner with it either, though I sometimes pair it with MAC's whirl lip liner. The price point is also a lot more affordable at £5.00 compared to MAC's steep £18.00.
Swatch of Kiko's Unlimited Stylo Lipstick in #13 Cocoa
MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in 'Unlimited' next to Kiko's Unlimited Stylo in '#13 Cocoa'
This Kiko lipstick is the perfect everyday lipstick, and that true 'your lips but WAY better' shade that everyone is crazy about. I wear this lipstick to work everyday and it doesn't budge - through eating, drinking and talking it just stays put!
It is currently on sale for only £5.00 and it's definitely one of the best lipstick formula's out there at the moment in my opinion.
Grab yours by clicking here and enjoy their 30% off Black Friday sale!

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Makeup, Costume & Accessories for Halloween!
Sunday, 19 October 2014
Hey everyone!
Autumn is my favourite time of year - and it's not only because Summer is officially over (I'm not a fan of the heat) but it means Halloween, Bonfire Night and Diwali are all creeping up on us. Halloween is arguably my favourite 'holiday' as I love dressing up and scaring people for the hell of it. Most importantly, it gives me an excuse to dress up as my favourite characters. This year, I have decided to dress up as my role model and favourite TV show character EVER: Buffy Summers.
If you have not watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer before, you are seriously missing out. It's honestly the most diverse show ever. Most episodes blend different genres, including horror, martial arts, romance, melodrama, science fiction, comedy, and even musical comedy in one certain episode (and the complete opposite in another).
I created this makeup and outfit look based on this picture of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers. In this promo pic for season 4 she wears a Black high neck vest top with a pair of dark red faux leather trousers. Her makeup is pretty simple with a goldy champagne colour on her eyelids and a brown liner and mascara with minimal face makeup. I have left all links to the outfit I'm wearing in the description box of my YouTube video. If you want to know where to get the jewellery from, I've done a whole post on Buffy jewellery which you can check out by clicking here.
Your support on my channel has been overwhelming and I am so grateful to each and every one of you who has subscribed, commented or thumbed up any of my videos. I will probably do more blog posts in the months leading up to Christmas as I have a Christmas temp job starting soon so I won't be able to post videos on YouTube as often for a while (I think, we'll see!)
Thanks for reading and I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.

Bloggers Tea Party at Drink, Shop & Do
Hey everyone,
As many of you will know from my Instagram pics and tweets on Twitter, I attended the Bloggers Tea Party last Sunday hosted by talented bloggers Olivia and Nadja at a little quaint cafe called 'Drink, Shop & Do' in Kings Cross.
The cafe was wonderfully different to the usual coffee & cake shop. The layout itself was unique and the arrangement of cups they had on display were rather mesmerizing.
Our meetup was situated at the back of the cafe where we had our own VIP area. The afternoon involved many Twitter competitions as well as a beauty bar where we got to pick up little beauty treats. The tea and cake were definitely two of the many highlights of the afternoon!
Olivia & Nadja did an outstanding job hosting and organising the blogger meetup and managed to get a number of fantastic brands on board such as Sleek Makeup, Makeup Revolution, Giovanni, Palmers, Balance Me, So? and many more.
The goody bag was beyond amazing and I have already used and featured a lot of the products on my YouTube channel if any of you guys are interested to see how I like them. Also, I will be reviewing some of the beauty products on my blog.
All in all the Bloggers Tea Party turned out to be a massive success and it was a great way to meet new people and mingle with fellow bloggers. Again, thank you to Olivia and Nadja for pulling off such an amazing event! I honestly can't wait for the next one!

What I've been up to! :)

Hey everyone!
I hope you're all well and have been enjoying this beautiful transition into Autumn. Autumn is actually one of my favourite seasons as it starts to get cooler and the fashion trends are on point. I personally prefer cold weather to hot (weird I know). Wow, I haven't blogged in quite a few weeks! - I hope you all have been enjoying my videos on YouTube. I am really enjoying filming videos and uploading them for you, so I have been focusing on doing that lately. I filmed a Kylie Jenner inspired makeup tutorial to be uploaded last week but it was filmed at such a bad angle that I couldn't even fix it with editing, apologies for that! - let me know if you'd like me to re-film it because I would happily do that if you guys are interested. But today I thought I'd share a post on what I've been getting up to.
I attended Blogger's London Fashion week last week and it was amazing. I met so many amazing people and the gifting lounge and fashion catwalk were extraordinary. It's also nice meeting fellow bloggers who share the same interests as you as well as brands.
I'm also continuing my job search in Journalism but it's actually pretty difficult to secure any paid work unfortunately, so I might have to put that on hold for a while. Other than that, I've been catching up with some TV shows and re-watching one of my all-time favourite shows, (after Buffy of course) which is 'LOST' with my little sister.
I have bought a new camera to film my videos and take even better photos so I'm really excited for it to arrive so I can get started with filming again. I have been so ill the past week so I haven't been able to upload any videos, but I will make up for lost time! :)
I hope you have a lovely day and I will see you in my next video - and blogpost which is coming soon.

Get Ready With Me: Party Makeup Look
Monday, 1 September 2014
Hey everyone!
I hope you're all well and have been enjoying my YouTube makeup videos lately. I recently uploaded my GRWM Party Makeup video and it's my favourite one yet - I went with neutral shades with a gold twist for the eyes, I used my Makeup Revolution Awesome Metal foil finish shadow that I mentioned recently on my blog. (If you haven't checked that out, click here). I decided not to go with a bold lip and instead went for a rosey pink colour that I think equally complemented the look. For the outfit, I decided to wear this jumpsuit from Missguided with a gold statement necklace and cuff. I did film the entire outfit but it was just too dark and blurry to put up, sorry about that! I also went with straight hair as I was in a bit of a rush. So I hope you guys enjoy this video, link will be down below. Do let me know what else you'd like to see on my channel. :)

Outfit of the Day: Chic Faux Leather and Crop Bralet with Lace Up Heels
Hey everyone!
So here is an extremely delayed fashion post about the outfit I wore to a Bloggers event... a month or so ago. Oops. I just thought I'd share this with you guys anyway as it was the perfect summery outfit to wear for an evening out.
Here I'm wearing a pale blue Topshop bralet paired with my Boohoo faux leather skirt, lace up heels from Justfab and a huge statement necklace from Zara to complete the look. I think the pastel bralet really complements the black skirt as it's like daytime meets night time if you know what I mean?
I hope you enjoyed this short post, make sure you head over to my YouTube channel and catch up on my latest makeup tutorials. I'm absolutely loving filming for you guys and your support has been immense so thank you all so much!
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend! :)

July Favourites!
Wednesday, 30 July 2014
Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well. July has gone by SO fast! It's possibly been the hottest month in England for a long while. Now that July has come to an end, I'm going to show you all what I've been loving this month.
It's fair to say I have a lot of favourites this month, so this post might be a little longer than usual but I'll try to get through each favourite quickly!
MAC Lipliner - Whirl
I have been loving the 90's dark nude lip and I really wanted a nude coloured lip liner to work with. I heard Kylie Jenner herself uses this lipliner and I have to say, it looks so pretty. It's a nudey rose colour and would compliment most skin tones. The texture is quite matte but not drying on the lips. Definitely one of my favourite purchases this month.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner - Nude
This is the perfect eyeliner for the water liner. It instantly makes your eyes appear bigger and because it is waterproof, it does not budge. It's also a bargain at £3.99 a pop.
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream (27 Honey Beige)
I've previously mentioned this in a previous BB creams post. It is a lovely (in my opinion) full coverage BB cream. I got this in the shade Honey Beige, which has a yellow/golden undertone. The next shade down was way too red/beige!
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (NC30)
Arguably the best high end concealer on the market in my opinion. I've tried and tested a number of concealers but none really match up to MAC's pro longwear. It lasts all day and gives the most flawless coverage.
Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado
This is a nice eye cream that I have been loving this month. It hydrates the undereye area and acts as the perfect base for a bright concealer/highlighter.
L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara - Black
This has definitely been my favourite mascara this month. It is such good quality and has a cheap price tag. It makes your eyelashes look very black, voluminous, thicker and longer than they naturally are.
MAC Face & Body Foundation (C5)
This is my new favourite summer foundation. It is such a light sheer foundation with a dewy finish that makes your skin look natural and glowy. This is one of the first foundations I've used where it actually does look like your skin but better. This foundation is particularly great for people with good skin, as it looks so flawless. However, you can also use a bit of concealer beforehand to cover any blemishes.
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder (Golden Sand)
This is a good powder to set your foundation with. The texture is very sheer and light which means you won't get any blotchiness that you can sometimes get with other powders. It sets the foundation and controls oil very well. It would be nice if there were more yellow toned shades available as this one is quite beige.
Ben Nye Luxury Powder (Banana)
The highly raved about Ben Nye Banana Powder made famous by Kim Kardashian. I absolutely LOVE this powder for my under eyes and highlighted areas. I mentioned this in a previous haul post and thought it deserved another mention because it is that amazing. This powder is great for those with a yellow/golden/olive undertone as it enhances your natural features.
Sleek Contour Kit (Medium)
This is such an amazing little compact contour duo. The kit comes with a contour shade and a pink highlighter. For the price, you can't really go wrong. It's affordable and works just as well as any high end contour product.
Barry M Dazzle Dust (Tan)
I had been looking for a drugstore/high street loose glitter/pigment that wasn't too expensive. This Barry M Dazzle Dust did not disappoint. It's very pigmented and looks gorgeous on the eyes. I got this in tan which is a golden taupe colour.
Collection 2000 Extreme 24HR Felt Tip Eyeliner (Black)
This is the best felt tip applicator eyeliner I have come across! It has the most perfect point and has great colour payoff. I definitely recommend this for those on a budget.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer (03 Warm Medium)
This is one of the best drugstore/high street concealers. Obviously it's not as good as MAC's pro longwear but for the price it is an actual godsend! It covers imperfections so well without looking too heavy or cakey. It is also a great concealer for under the eyes.
Sigma F86 Tapered Kabuki Brush
I love this brush so much. I use it to blend out my concealer under my eyes and it makes the finish look so flawless. I would say it is on par with the beauty blender, which I also love.
Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush
This brush has fast become my favourite brush for applying foundation. It makes the foundation blend so seamlessly into your skin without it looking cakey. Definitely a top favourite this month!
Zoeva 109 Face Paint Brush
I love to use this brush for contouring. It is the perfect shape to carve out your cheekbones. I love the whole Zoeva range - I also purchased the petite crease and blending brush which I also adore and highly recommend. Zoeva brushes are also incredibly affordable and great for those who don't want to spend too much on make-up brushes.
So there you have my favourites. Sorry it was such a long post! I just had so many favourites this month haha. Thanks for reading, leave comments below :)

BB Creams: Hit or Miss?
Friday, 25 July 2014
Hey Everyone,
Summer has well and truly arrived, which means many of us will be trading in the full coverage foundations for lighter, natural looking dewy skin.
Having a tanned complexion can make it quite difficult to find a BB cream to suit my skin tone, as I find with most BB creams there just isn't enough yellow undertones or the shade is way too light.
I have been through trial and error trying different BB creams throughout the years. I still haven't found one that matches my skin tone exactly, but there are 1 or 2 BB creams out there that I have been loving.
Garnier BB Cream for Oily/Combination skin SPF 20
This BB cream is amazing for those with oily skin like myself! It controls oil so well and has pretty decent coverage. The only thing about this is it doesn't come in many shades, I even find the medium/deep shade to be a little too light for my NC42 skin, but I make it work with extra bronzer.
Missha BB Cream SPF 42
This cream is my favourite BB cream so far, it gives a decent coverage and lasts ages. I got the shade #27 honey beige which again, is a little light for me - but I found this shade had more golden/olive undertones than #31 Golden beige, which is a little strange considering the shade name! With this, I find it goes a little darker to blend into your skin tone, so it isn't too bad after an hour or so.
Maybelline BB Cream SPF 30
I have this BB cream in dark, and this is a little too dark for me. It has a lot of warm undertones but I feel like it looks too orange on me. The coverage is okay and it has a natural matte finish, but it doesn't last that long at all on my complexion.
Those are all the BB creams I have tried so far. If any of you have recommendations please leave them in the comments below! Thank you for reading.

Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow DUPE!
Tuesday, 22 July 2014
Hey Everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. When I first heard about the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadows, I was amazed by how pretty the foil effect looked, as well as the amazing colours they came in. You can imagine how gobsmacked I was when I found out they cost £33.50 EACH! For me, that's a bit steep for an eyeshadow and I don't feel like the product, even though its stunning, justifies spending that much money on a single eyeshadow.
However, I've found an exact replica of the Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadows, and they are the Makeup Revolution Awesome Eye Foils.
They even come in similar colours. The Rose Gold one is an exact dupe for Kitten! The packaging is also pretty similar, and it also comes with a eye primer and mixing tray. Once the eyeshadow is mixed with the primer on the tray, it creates this beautiful foil effect shadow that looks absolutely amazing on the eye lid.
There are 5 different shades to choose from: Black Diamond, Pure Platinum, Emerald Goddess, Rose Gold and Magnificent Copper.
